I loved this. What a great way to wrap up so many of the things from S9 that were so hard to watch. I had to stay up reading so I could see how you were going to resolve it. Even though you've left it pretty open ended here, it still feels like a good resolution. Very well done.

I LOVED this. Things I especially liked: Sam not letting Dean off the hook about Gadreel ('no, you don't know what it's like'); Sam setting out all the choices for Dean at the end, so that he properly knew what was happening; Dean being kind of reluctant to kill Sam even when he thought he was totally carefree demon happy; Crowley's voice (spot on); the idea that Sam was curing TWO demons simultaneously (goodness Sam, one took it out of you enough). Such a good fic!

Interesting post S9 AU which picks up many threads from the season, including that pretty hunter who didn't like Sammy and therefore clearly had to die. I particularly liked Sam telling demon!Dean that only Dean gets to call him Sammy. On the actual show, it both hurts and delights me that Dean still calls him that. :)
