Most rewatchable episode of S3 - time to narrow it down

There were a couple of interesting things about this season's poll. First, I think it's the first time one episode got a vote from every person who voted. And second, each of the top episodes has a heavy dose of humor.

We're only going with three episodes this time, since they were pretty far in front of the rest of the pack.

That was a tough choice! I went by rewatches. My favorite Dean death was offscreen, when Sam is destroying the Mystery Spot, and Dean goes to take away the axe, and they sound like five-year-olds! And then the owner gets drenched in blood.

Yes, I love that death. And the one (implied) where the waitress shoots him with an arrow.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy these polls, not least for your summaries.

I voted for MS, because I can't think of a single moment in that episode that I didn't thoroughly adore. I love the others, too. The cold opening and title card of AVSC crack me up every time, esp. since I remember the After School Specials that it's based on. And the Samulet, jeez. The villains are perfect, the stepping on the fruitcake .... I do have to cover my eyes when they go for the fingernail. But there are a couple of scenes that I felt didn't come off quite as well as they could have. I agree that BDABR is hilarity-filled, and I'm glad it made it to the finals.

I think I'm one of the only people in fandom who doesn't like AVSC. There are wonderful, important scenes in it, but I don't like horror humor, and the torture stuff was too much for me. It just left me with an awful feeling. I do love Samulet and the gift exchange scene, though. Maybe I should rewatch and just skip the horrific stuff.

The other two were hard to choose between, but MS is just one of my top 3 favorite eps EVER. Roomie and I were just talking about it and almost re-watched it tonight! We need to do so soon, because our S3 DVDs are very soon going over to my bro's house for the duration of our rewatch, which we dole out painfully slowly at one ep a week...

Urghh, I can't believe I missed this poll, dammit, lol. I love all these episodes, though, so it's all good. :-). I voted for AVSC, just for the end scene where they're watching the game together. It makes me cry every single time...oh, and I also really like them showing how much Dean was the parent of the family, even when he was still a kid himself. So much to love about that episode.

Looks like Mystery Spot's gonna win, though, and I loved that one too. So much Sam pain - I really love cold hunter!Sam so much! :-D
