i know a lot of people didn't like Harper, but I thought she was a fun villain. I liked her matter of fact approach to being evil and her logic was hilariously warped.

I liked Harper. She was a delightfully twisted subversion of the ditzy-blonde damsel-in-distress stereotype, and I can't help hoping we see her again. Also, her evil necromancer plays like a dark comment on Sam's and Dean's repeated willingness to do whatever they need to do to keep the other one alive. I enjoyed the whole Dean/Jack storyline, right up to the moment when Jack collapses and Dean obviously wishes Sam was there.

I wasn't crazy about the Sam/Charlie story. I know Sam's still feeling guilty about other-Charlie's death, but this isn't her. I liked her backstory because I never liked Charlie turning into a hunter in the first place, and I like the idea of her falling in love with a baker in Chicago instead. I just kept thinking, if I was her, the first thing I would do is to find out if that alternate version of Cara is alive. I wouldn't be hanging around in a pickup truck (even with Sam Winchester! Not if I thought I could see the love of my life again!)

The only reason I think she doesn't do that is because she's fully aware that she ISN'T their Charlie, so the Cara here isn't her Cara. It would hurt more to find her and realize they don't work together or to try and make this Cara into her Cara.

I can see both of these things happening. I can see her wanting to meet the other Cara and see if the spark is there, and I can see her refusing, because she’s so (rightly) adamant that she is not That Charlie. And I can see her wanting to see Other Cara’s face just once, though that would be so painful.

Right? Like maybe hiding out across the street, waiting for Cara to come out, then following her to see if she does things the same way..,

Gee, I guess I sound like a creepy stalker! Maybe Charlie is more rational than I am!

I kind of think Jack gave Sam the Fidget spinner, because he's been on a trip with Uncle Cas and he really wanted to get Chief and/or his Dad something to show he was thinking of him.

I'm not too worried that Jack will die, because he is popular and for the show to continue they need to have more of an ensemble and being a cute, cinnamon bun is a good choice for new regular character. OTOH, you can't be a REAL Winchester without dying at least once, so he could die and then come back. You know, like this is his initiation into the clan. John started the tradition when he died and Mary brought him back and now it's just one of those family rituals.

I think Jack's going to die but just, like, for an episode and a half. It's the family business.

I assumed the fidget spinner was just in the car, and I assumed Charlie and Sam 'borrowed' it.

Fun poll, for a fun episode (although that fly mask was terrible - they could have just shown us glimpses instead of the whole thing! But maybe they did it on purpose, like it was supposed to be absolutely terrible...)
