I agree with that choice. I am sure it is my top favorite of seasons 1 and 2. Though, I also really like Nightshifter, the first story that really pulled me in to Supernatural. :)

Such a nice coincidence-- I just got home from watching it with my brother. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING EPISODE. Truly. So amazing. And I've never seen it look so good-- we got to watch it on my brother's brand-new 52" plasma TV with surround sound. <3 I could see every tear and freckle.

What a wonderful choice! It's really one of those episodes which you can watch again and again, I think, and still discover something new about it every time.

I hope there'll be more polls. They're so much fun.

When you put Tessa's words so plainly -- choose to leave or become a vengeful spirit-- it is clear that in a way Dean has become a vengeful spirit.... a shadow of who the potential he once had, defined solely by his role as a Hunter. ):
I always hope that eventually the boys will retire from Hunting. Even career military can retire after 20 years... Dean has surely been a Hunter that long by now, since he started so young. Time for him to be a Man of Letters full time instead?
