There's a lot more people-killing than there used to be. I guess because wendigoes don't have henchmen.

I have no idea if this is how it works but with Dick and Amanda Tapping both acting and directing this season, maybe it was a case of "well, we're already paying them for stuff..."

Sabriel is a NOTP of mine. But whatever. If Show wants to push Sabriel on me I'll just aggressively read Sam/Rowena instead.

That was the most intense 'then' segment I think I've ever scene outside of 'the road so far' recaps...they really wanted to be sure we remembered Gabriel since he was basically getting his own episode. Richard Speight must have really worked his ass off...directing himself fighting himself, no less!

Although, if someone was after Loki, wouldn't they be equally after Gabriel!Loki? Very good question ( ... )

I would have liked a little more acknowledgment of Sam's time in the Cage--something along the lines of verbalizing Sam gets where Gabriel is coming from

But they did give that to us earlier in the season, so I'm okay not getting it now.

not to mention Dean has 40 years in Hell to relate with as well...

Dean's hell issues always seem to be about him being the torturer, not him being tortured. I think that bothers him more.

And yeah, Jack did go on a little power trip there. I think everyone getting killed might have cured him of that. I hope so.

Actually, if SFV does stand for San Fernando Valley, that makes sense because a lot of porn is filmed there.

(California had a state measure on the ballot requiring all porn actors to wear condoms and there were a lot of articles in the newspaper about the porn industry.)
