I *love* this snippet. Ficlet. Whatever, it is loved. I do think Sam would want to help, and he is uniquely qualified, like no one else.

Also, I enjoyed your review, quite a lot. It helped me sort out how I felt about the episode, so it went quite a way beyond a mere recap.

Hah, I was arguing myself that Sam made a very little angel banishing sigil, so it only banished angels in a very little radius. But yeah, 5x18 does clearly establish that there's a limited radius of effect -- actually most of the times they use the sigil does, considering they tend to wait until the angels have stalked close rather than just setting it off immediately.

I don't care if you call 'em reviews or recaps or whatever, I just enjoy your take on episodes!

--Also awww to your bit of fic. I really want the boys to have that conversation, of why Sam needs to believe in Jack, how personal it might be.

(though I hope it might come up too that some of Dean's attitude isn't just Evil Needs to Die -- it's that power itself can be dangerous, and Jack might be a threat even if he doesn't intend to be, if he can't control what he is...)

Ohhhh, great ficlet!!! I love Sam's reasoning that Jack doesn't have to be bad and I'd love to see Sam voice that on show, and then seeing him help Kelly too. Very nicely done.
