"How are you feeling about next week's episode?" - I'd be a lot more excited if it wasn't airing on 27th April.

I'm afraid so - we are in another Hellatus... It sucks for lots of reasons but not least because it means the finale won't air until after my two conventions (A16 and JIB7).

I've been worrying that all the people coming back from the dead are preparing us to be completely unprepared when someone we care about DOESN'T come back.

The only one I'd be upset about dying and not coming back is Sam or Dean. I like Cas but he doesn't really add anything to the show, IMHO.

Yep. Can't he just show up when he's truly relevant to the Winchester storyline, instead of requiring his own?

In my headcanon I've replaced Lucifer as the incorrectly stated 'first' son with 'favoured' son!!!

Wonderful poll, as always!!!

Excellent. Just a translation error.

That's what I figured she meant: "first in love" not "first born". All she says is "As God’s favorite-his first son", so it's ... ambiguous.

That works for me.

> Who is going to end up being God's chosen one who can use the Hand of God?

If they're going to be true to the original show's intent, then Sam and Dean are only God's chosen so long as they work together. Of course, one of them could be the Hand of God, and the other could be God's chosen one. I can't help wondering if that old palm print on Dean's shoulder might make a reappearance.

Of course, it occurs to me, they might have plans to make Castiel the hand of god, wielded by Sam and Dean together as God's chosen.

I throw that in. Just as a suggestion :P

Actually . . . what is all this "the hands can only be wielded by God's chosen" crap, anyway? Aaron's rod seemed pretty effective when Crowley and Lucifer were wielding it at each other o_O

I loved Lucifer in season five, hated Hallucifer with a passion and was SO HAPPY to see him again to get away from the whole Casifer debacle. I have no idea who can wield the God weapons but I really can't wait to find out- love for it to be Sam. But I'd also love for it to be Dean. I don't know who else it could be?. I hate that we have to wait now.....

It could be that Sam is the HoG and Dean has to wield him somehow. They've spent too much time telling us Dean can't fight Amara, though, so I'm feeling Lucifer here.

(And happy belated birthday!)

I'd pay good money to watch Dean wield Sam.
