Wednesday is not the domestic nurturing type. No babies, no playing house. Sometimes she plays with her play food, and lately if you give her a wet towel she'll do the dusting but that is it. I will admit I am a terrible housekeeper. I hate cleaning and cooking. I do what I need to to keep the house somewhat under control so I know I am not the housekeeping role model. John Nathaniel does try to help mommy though when I clean around him. He will even try to help me when I am cooking, especially mixing things or cracking eggs. With JN though I think his helpfulness is just wanting to be around us. We do stress having him pick up his own toys so that might be part of it but I think it more likely that is just how he is. With my luck, in a few years he will be the exact opposite and I will be wishing he was his old helpful self again.
