"You can't see the Lion?" Lassiter hisses, because he can't believe Jools is worried about mobsters when the King of Predators is RIGHT THERE lurking in the bushes.

"Did you eat the cookies from that bust?" Juliet asks, frowning at him.

"No!" he snaps, because he has professional integrity, and he hadn't known that they were evidence, and the lion in the bushes is REALLY much more important than any inadvertent tampering that may or may not have occurred while the evidence was in his possession.
