"COVER YOUR EARS!", the Doctor yells, and that's all the warning they get before he jams the sonic screwdriver into the speaker system.
When the dust settles, the Charnish Queen and all of her siblings are frozen in place, as still and serene as statues.
"That should keep her out of trouble for the next thousand years," the Doctor says, dusting off his stolen hat.
