ALADDINI really like this song but isn't very popular for a Disney song. It really sets up the mood of the movie; the song literally makes you feel like there's heat all around you and you're in the desert and the background dialogue is funny too. =D
2. the bells of notre dame
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAMEWHO IS THE MONSTER AND WHO IS THE MAN? That one line makes me cry which sounds ridiculous but it does...
And the Bells! Those bells make the song feel so grand and powerful,
truly breathtaking.
3. belle
BEAUTY AND THE BEASTI love singing this song! I've known the lyrics and sang it ever since I was seven.
It's probably the first Disney song I knew all the lyrics to as a child and it was so fun.
I would always do the voices and act out the parts too. =P
4. down in new orleans (prologue)
PRINCESS AND THE FROGI particularly like the Prologue version
which is the one where Tiana sings by herself but all three versions are great!
It really sets the mood for the liveliness and soul of the city.
5. circle of life
THE LION KINGSo the actual lyrics of the song at the beginning is:"Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba." which I never knew before. I could sing along but apparently the sounds I had been using were completely wrong. Maaaaa zenbenya babazeezeebaba. =)
6. the virginia company
POCAHONTASPocahontas was the first Disney movie I ever watched making this song the first Disney song I ever heard!
Even though I was too young at the time to understand the depth of this movie,
I knew the music was amazing.
7. when will my life begin
TANGLEDI've literally been listening to it non-stop ever since the soundtrack came out.
So much so that I could sing along while watching the movie. =D
It doesn't really fit with the mix of songs here but it's too cute to miss! ♥
I love Disney songs! If anyone wants to talk about Disney songs and love them, talk to me! I will gladly love them with you. ♥
BTW, if anyone has the movie version of If I Never Knew You I would really appreciate it! =)
