... that Jacqui Smith has probably convinced enough Labour MPs to vote in favour that she can pass the measure if she has the backing of the DUP, which has a small number of MPs in Parliament but could swing the issue. I can't see the DUP voting against internment. They certainly didn't when we had it over here in the 70s.

(iris is of course married to our new first minister and head of the DUP, Peter and they are, in general, a pack of reactionary, bigotted fuckwits).

Well, as you can see, locking people up in the 1970s certainly saved the mainland from terrorism. There were NO BOMBS afterwards.

Somehow, a bucket of warm spit fills me with more revulsion that one full of piss. The piss might have come about from getting caught short, whereas a bucket of warm spit would involve someone spitting into it repeatedly for ages, or many people doing it. Freakish.
