To those who expressed an interest in reading my real journal stuff:

Um, and I have a fun story about that userpic:

One of my friends loves the original Ghandi quote associated with it, and decided to get a tattoo of "Be the Change" on the back of her neck. When she got home to look at it, it read "Be he chong". She had to wait a few weeks and get a different tattoo over top of it.

That's pretty rough. I wonder if Erica had loved dancing before she became sick. It's sad to think of all that hope and life that becomes nothing. How old was she?

She looked to be in her 30s but I have no idea.

It was very sad to be surrounded by all that, but actually most people who were in the camp were very happy. It was definitely a strange mix of emotions to be surrounded by. Erica was definitely the person in the worst health that I encountered, but it breaks my heart to think that the other 32 residents there will all be in her condition eventually. Not like something won't kill me one day, but you know what I mean. Maybe just knowing how they're going to go is the release they feel?
