Hey, um, I have something for you...

[He's pretty sure he has a firm understanding about what went down, but he doesn't want to just side with Juliet and leave Tybalt on his own. She even asked him to talk to him, and he's not just going to leave his friend behind despite not agreeing with him. He just won't touch the subject.]

Did you uh, want to hang out or something?

[He switches to voice and sighs. His voice is rough and ragged from screaming and more than a little crying.]

That might be good. Let me clean up here a bit.

[He sounds like a mess, and seriously, He's wracking his brains for something they can do that might cheer him up.]

I can help you clean if you want...Um, I could be there in like ten minutes?

No! [It comes out harsher than he'd meant it to. But he doesn't want anyone else seeing the destruction]

I'll get it. I'll meet you outside in... fifteen? [There may be a faint, faint hint of pleading in his tone.

[Now that she's safely ensconced at Spike's, she can check the little machine she was fortunate enough to be holding when she fled. And she frowns.]

If you have broken any of the child's things, I shall tell Riku.

[That answer surprises her, and is more than she'd hoped for, given how angry he was when she left.]

Good. I would not wish you to deal with Riku's temper today.

Not things anymore. Just kindling. Would think dry wood might be useful at the moment

True. As long as you make something of it, Monsieur, it's not a waste.

I could use some.

[Which is... only partly a lie.]

[She was hoping--]

[But then again, it's not her place, is it?]

Alright.

The house is not in a fit state for company at the moment.
