So I've had this thought, because I keep making the Amity Aquarium really weirdly tailored and I was like "but where the fuck are they getting their funding" so since they're associated with the aliens, like, and the thing with the weresharks, what if they were funded by the MWWBS? Like the aliens set it up through them so that the aliens could research humans in a safe-for-humans way that didn't let on, and that meant that they had a shit ton of money to dedicate to having a really complicated facility?

I also had some vague thoughts about the so-called infestation of sharks that they have every summer, like that can't be normal behavior right? And then also the people in the area are at least somewhat aware that the sharks in question are not normal sharks. Obviously they're the weresharks but the simplest explanation is a gathering of the pod during a particular part of the year (you'll recall that the pods cover wide areas so that they can spread out and have their space) but to count as "infestation", esp enough to

That's where Shawn Spencer spent most of his twenties! He went back in time and took over the identity of some film student/former Navy brat, had an epic, wild rock and role career, and then at age 27, faked his own death and returned to the present! (If Shawn Spencer is about the same age as James Roday, he'd have been right around thirty when he returned to Santa Barbara, so the timing works!)

I mean that sounds like the most logical explanation. (I really need to get caught up on Psych, I missed like the last two or three seasons, but I heard the ending was kinda disappointing and I'm hesitant.)

(Also the writers confirmed in a tweet that Lassiter is pansexual so my Lassie/Everyone otp wasn't as implausible as I thought, nor was "Lassiter has a crush on Jules' brother".)
