Severe weather warning ...

Here comes the snow - right on cue as school's out for the week. No doubt my children will be thrilled (and get totally soaked on the way home) but if I get snowed in and can't drive north tomorrow to see Sweeney Todd I shall go MAD!!! My friend has already bought the tickets ... in Leeds. I can't miss it now!!!!

Round here we don't get snow on the grand scale that you are experiencing - even in Yorkshire where I am heading today it has not been too bad after all, despite dire predictions. Enjoy your white-out weekend if you can (poor Daphne!) but luckily for me, it's no impediment to the trip to see Sweeney. That would've been a cruel jinx after I've waited this long! Got my soundtrack CD lined up to play en route whilst driving ... Yippee! I'll post my thoughts on the film after the weekend.

I've just noticed that I've packed black, red and grey clothes to wear - how appropriate!
