But where, I beg of you Opal, is the Snapey stuff? With House green? And lots of shades of dubious grey - from Slytherin silver to Buttoned-Up black. With the tempting touch of a glimmer of pure white perhaps? A strand of blue for an intellect worthy of Ravenclaw would not be amiss. Add a definite touch of sallow yellow. With maybe, just maybe, the tiniest inner flecks of Gryffindor red and gold?

That was a pretty sexy description of Snape yarn... O.o

Or maybe I'm just a wee bit pervy when it comes to Snape...lol

But you are right of course, where the hell is the Snape yarn? I mean, this next movie is supposed to be really about him so, what gives? Maybe they have a second set of yarn they'll be releasing closer to the release date of the movie. I won't give up hope.

Ha ha! We are all just a wee bit pervy when it comes to Snape are we not? Maybe I should send Opal my thoughts on the matter ... ; )

It's also rather strange that they have omitted Hermione come to think of it. Maybe they are SS/HG fans and are going to release a special mixed blend. Or a Snarry ... or a Snupin blend ... That would appeal to me more than the 'Ron and Harry' one in this batch!

Actually I'm also hoping for some knitting patterns to accompany the yarn ... Mrs Weasley sweaters, Dobby's odd socks, tea-cosies that double as hats ... Lol!

Yay Snupin! I would totally go for some Snupin yarn!

Those knitting patterns sound like a good idea! If Opal is smart they'll do something like that.

I wish I could knit, then I could do something with the yarn. hehe

Is a tiny bit off-top allowed? I'm especially grateful to the HP costume designers and creators for Snape's colours - not dull black but deep charcoal of his overobe and dark inky violet of his frock coat. BTW have you seen his boots (shoes?) on those hi res character photos for OOTP? Used to be dandy-like, now worn out they look intimate disclosing some of Snape's nature :-)

You are right! I'm so used to book Snape as my reference that I forgot about the purplish coat completely! Please can you direct me to the particular OOTP pic that shows the footwear? I think that I ought to inspect his feet forthwith ... Lol!
