On a wet, dreary Wednesday, good to remind myself of organised treats coming up in the next couple of months...

Alan made you a live theatre fan as well? :) Or did he rekindle your earlier interest?

The last actor that makes me want to see them on stage is Philip Quast, but alas, his new production (Follies) is only 3 performances, all the way down in Australia and in May when I have serious exams required for my thesis. Praying for another time.

Yes, I must credit AR with making me a live theatre fan. Although I had been to the theatre with family/school as a child/young adult, I can truly say that I never chose to do so myself. When living in London during the 1980s I preferred cinema, occasional opera as a treat, but mostly meeting friends in smoky pubs after work. To think that I could so easily seen AR in his prime in Les Liaisons Dangereuses in 1885 now drives me mad! But at the time I didn't even know it was happening. *sigh*

I hope you get your dream to see Philip Quast perform live one day...

There's so much good theatre on constantly. The more I look, the more I see... but must prudently restrain myself and not be greedy! :-)

I really liked wonder.Land!

And the Found 111 venue is magic.

wonder.land certainly looks visually exciting and I love the concept.

Found 111 is amazing. Perfect for making the audience feel part of a very intimate drama. :-)

I need incentives in order to further educate myself - and in this instance Ralph is that incentive. :-)

What a gorgeous selection of treats!

And don't believe all the reviews. I thought Wonder.land was fab. It explored a range of complex themes and social issues, and looked into the pros and cons of young people's use of social media channels. Plenty of food for thought! Great effects too!
