A Little Chaos

Mar 15, 2015 19:35

I need to keep reminding myself that this is a thing...

In the clip AR and KW look like Colonel Brandon and his wife twenty years on from Sense and Sensibility, which timing wise in the real world is just about spot on. :-)

Yep, it truly is. Luckily I was already sitting down when I realised, or I might have wobbled and sprained the other ankle... :-))

Indeed not. Especially as I've just read in this article http://www.theguardian.com/culture/2015/mar/15/mark-rylance-wolf-hall-interview-the-gunman that the Mark Rylance play that was at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Farinelli and the King is going to transfer to the West End in the autumn. I may have a chance to see it after all... Did you rate it worth the trip?

will watch the trailer later, from home. But this single still indeed looks like good old S&S. And with this it feels like that good old, decent and cerebral, sweet and innocent, AR mania, unlike all the other manias, far less decent, sweet or cerebral, from Twilight to 50 shades, that have sprawled during the past 20 years, is about to hit back. Is this the salvation coming? )

The above is just a little clip. This is the actual trailer here: https://youtu.be/6ihzIGDITqE

Ah yes - so long since those first days of AR infatuation... What or who is is your passion at the moment?

*sighs* no passion for a very long time, only troubles at work. With the crisis everything is really tough and stressful at work, more than ever. Am working from 10 to 12 hours a day.
Work has been my main concern for the past year...
As for the other aspects of everyday life... Spring is one month earlier this year, this March is the warmest one ever so far. No snow in the city, few in the country, temps are around +10, which is great.
Treat myself with more nice outfits, a few new styles again, and that lifts my spirit a little. Been doing fitness training, struggling to alter my eating habbits, trying some advanced skin care. Planning the coming dacha season with Mum, have bought some new plants to get planted in May. The usual routine overall...

Have you seen 'Kingsman'? Colin Firth was impressive! So fit, fitter than ever, and doing all those stunts and fighting! He's a cool dude now! *lol*

I'm really sorry that things are so tough. Thank goodness you have the dacha to plan for and escape to when the weather allows.

Yes - saw and very much enjoyed Kingsman. Colin Firth was excellent. Just a pity his character didn't survive and therefore can't do any sequel! I am definitely on the lookout for a new passion... Still a Sherlock fan to the end, but Mr Cumberbatch himself has lost most of his appeal over the past six months with his weird behaviour, shotgun wedding on St Valentine's Day, etc. :-))
