Didn’t see this in the cinema when it was released early December last year, but picked up and watched the dvd yesterday. Had deliberately not researched any background to the story beyond being already aware that the protagonists were the young writers of the Beat Generation - Ginsberg, Kerouac, Burroughs, and Carr.

have just watched a good amount of the utube clips - the interviews (aw, particularly the one where Dan and Dane name 5 words to describe each other), the real-life bromance (aaww), the kiss (aaaaawwwwww)
This films looks like a really interesting and touching one.
Have never seen Dane De Haal before but was immediately charmed but this young man - calm, confident, obviously very smart. Got to look him up and keep an eye on his screen career.

Yes, Dane DeHaan is definitely one to watch. And I hope you are able to watch the whole of this film sometime.
