Celebratory mood since daughter has today landed a six month internship based at the theatre in our nearby city. This means that she can stay home over the winter, saving us all money.

Tomorrow I head north via stopover with friend in Leeds. We're going to see Sweeney Todd at The West Yorkshire Playhouse: Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet

Enjoy Sweeney Todd, that's one I've always wanted to see at some point. :D

Thank you! We're all pretty chuffed about it, as the saying (in Scotland) goes. :-))

Sweeney Todd in Leeds was really fab. The Burton film with Depp, etc excludes certain songs (from Judge Turpin and The Beadle) so it's always good to see and hear the entire, unexpurgated, original Sondheim.
