Aaron Johnson http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1093951/. He's been in a few films that my daughter knows, but he's unknown to me! I guess it's a generational thing... :-))

Oh I know who he is now! He played John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, rather good. Fell for his middle aged female director who had his child I believe. ( Not that I would gossip, of course)

Well then I guess he has the real life experience to play this role. And I don't doubt his actual acting credentials. But I still reckon that Vronsky should't be blond! :-))

oh no, NO! JL in an age role! It's fullish, I know, yet I did hope that this would never happen... ((( I was afraid that it would be painful to see him wrinkled and loosing hair. And I've just had a sort of such twich in my heart seeing the photo ((( Don't know why but I feel like this more than ever about JL specifically. Maybe because he is outstandingly gorgeous.

Yes, Jude's on the record as saying that he cannot play the young heart-throb any more. Well he still can for me! :-))

Actually I always had sympathy for Karenin in this Tolstoy story - and with Jude in the role, I expect to have even more. So I'm looking forward to seeing him in this part, even if in my mind he is forever beautiful blond Bosie, the boy who ruined Oscar Wilde. :-))
