I probably shouldn’t admit to it, but my daughter took this teen flick out on rental and then went out for the evening. So I decided to watch it in her place, since it promised a fun remake of the old fairy tale. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke, the male lead Shiloh Fernandez was her first choice to be Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise. But

Yep, I agree with you. It is a somewhat entertaining film but easy to forget. Gary Oldman plays an angry Sirius Black for having missed the battle of Hogwarts. LOL!
