Lovely review! I sat stoically through Snape's death scene, even with Russ sneaking looks at me to see if I was going to start wailing. I teared up when Harry was with everyone in the forest, of all things. We took Zack with us and despite having never read the books nor seen any of the previous movies, he loved it. He is now what he calls a "Potterhead" and has stayed up well past his bedtime for the past week reading the books.

Yep, it was that walk into the forest and use of the Resurrection Stone that did it for me too. Maybe having sons of our own is what made that moment seem so heartbreaking... even knowing as we did from reading the book that he would actually survive! For the first time I actually felt that it really was all about Harry. I think I'm finally ready to let Severus Snape rest in peace.

It's great to hear that Zack is now able to enjoy all the books for himself, and still has all the magic of those plus the previous movies to look forward to. Lucky boy!
