AIM RP Log: Roaming

Who: RED Sniper and BLU Medic
When: 25th July
Where: Starts in RED Kitchen ends in the Storm Shelter
What: Talking and stuff

Although he was not allowed to return to battle just yet Hugh was allowed to roam around the base freely again something that he took advantage of at every available opportunity. Anywhere was a better place to sit around doing nothing than the Medical Bay and it made it more pleasant to see Mauritz or pay Sid a visit.

Currently he was sitting with Mauritz in the kitchen pushing an empty teacup around the table. They had just finished with the questions about his current condition. He was doing better but at times he still didn't really look it.

"Now that's out of the way... still missing me in battle?"

"Oh, but of course." Mauritz smiled. "No vone else is quite as fun to play vith as you." He'd been visiting Hugh every day he could, and true to his word had been bringing a book or two every other visit. Just to keep Hugh occupied while everyone else killed each other.

"I still say that you will have a hard time finding me when I do get back out there." He was determined to prove that he could do it and some of the time during the day that wasn't spent reading was dedicated to trying to think up good locations where he could work and avoid the Medic. "You'll just get headaches from me."

"I still look forvards to it." Mauritz replied. "It'll mean you are vell enough to be about again." And he dearly looked forwards to that day.

"It won't be long before I am better again. The number of things I can't do right now is a little maddening," Slowly and carefully he stood up, pulling the empty teacup towards him. "I'll clean this out and maybe we can go for a walk?"

"Sure zing. I'll be sure not to tire you out." he grinned.

“A walk won't tire me out." He frowned at Mauritz in return before scooping up the Medic's cup as well and heading over to the sink and seeing to cleaning out the cups.

"I vas only kidding." Mauritz got up and stood by his side.

"Well some days you have fussed a bit more than you should." He glanced at the medic as he set the first cup aside.

"Forgive me, I vorry about you." He said, touching Hugh's arm gently.

He knew nobody else was in the room but still that touch had him on edge. "I know but you don't need to." He reached up, covering Maur's hand with his own damp one for a few seconds before brushing him off.

He let himself be nudged away and went to dry his hand on a towel. "I still do." he said to himself.

"I know." He repeated as he put the second cup aside. He dried off his hand a little on the front of his shirt.

He sighed. "Alright, lets go for zis valk."

Hugh brushed by him on his way out into the hall. "You happy with just going anywhere?"

"Of course." he smiled slightly, following after him.

"I thought I would be sure. You might have had a preference." He turned and headed down the hall.

"No, I'll just follow you." He smiled, tagging after him.

"Nice long walk and we can find someplace to sit down again for a while."

"I'm sure ve can find a nice varm rock to sit on."

"There might still be chairs out there. I don't think they ever got cleared away."

"Vell, alright. Vorth a look." he ageed.

"That way you will have less need to worry."

Mauritz grinned a little. "You know me so vell."

"It would take a real idiot not to notice how much you like to fuss. You aren't very subtle Mauritz." He maintained a more serious expression as they headed out into the afternoon sun.

"I don't need subtlety. You hardly ever seem to get it vhen I'm being subtle, so vhats za point?" he asked.

"Sometimes I am selective about what I notice. Some things I ignore on purpose."

"You didn't ignore me on purpose." he said dryly.

"...are you thinking of any occasion in particular?"

"Not really, but I'm sure you missed some zings. Or maybe you DID just ignore zem." he sighed. "Eizer vay, never vorks."

"Some things had to be ignored." Or he had been frightened of what would happen if he didn't.

"Of course," he sighed.

"You can say and do what you like as long as there aren't people around."

"Not even during battle?" he half pouted.

"That- that depends on what you are doing and where." His voice had gotten quieter as he spoke, almost trailing off towards the end.

"Just playfulness? I vouldn't really do anyzing if you protested a lot." He wasn't that kind of guy.

"That wasn't what I meant... sometimes I have the feeling that there are things you wouldn't do even if I told you to." His pace slowed a little. "It is not about what you do as much as it is about where."

"Nozing in public. I understand." he held up his hands to show he meant it.

"The rest of the time I don't care as much. I could of sworn I've already said that." The look he gave Mauritz was one of disappointment. "You always seem so worried."

"It gives me somezing to do." He shoved his hands in his pockets, staring at the ground. Not the look of disappointment, god anything but that.

"Sometimes I really don't want it to come into things at all. Sometimes you worry about every bit of contact."

"You reacted so negatively before to it zough." he said, frowning.

"Outside, on the battlefield when you yourself didn't know if you were just trying to unsettle me or not?"

"Yes..." he nodded. "Zat."

"Then is it any wonder I didn't react well and I've told you since then-" He sighed an covered his eyes. "I told you it's okay."

"Fine." Mauritz crossed his arms, "Zen I'll stop vorrying."

"I'd rather just be able to get along."

"Zen you vill get it." He sighed. "I'm sorry."

"Thanks. I just don't like you worrying particularly when there are other things I would rather do."

"Like vhat?" he asked. He could think of a few things of course but he wanted to hear Hugh's ideas.

"We're outside." He said as if he had just realised it.

Mauritz blinked at him behind his glasses. "Yes...?"

"Nothing." He shrugged. "Well... some of what I want is not really for discussion out here."

"Zen maybe ve should find a private spot to talk about it." He suggested, taking a step forwards.

Private and quiet sounded ideal. "...there are spare rooms in base or somewhere else?"

"I'm sure ve could find vone. Vhich base?" he was all for his own or for Hugh's. Either worked.

He really had to think about it. They were standing right outside of the RED base but he worried about a run in with Sid. There were pkenty of people on the BLU side he wouldn't like to see either but they weren't quite as bad as his own Engineer and the BLU side was far away, he wasn't sure if he should wander off that far without letting someone on his own team know even if he was fine at the moment. "...neither is perfect."

"No, but zen nozing really is perfect. If you like, ve can always just find a rock round za back of your base?" Private as anything out here.

"I would rather be indoors." Outside just wouldn't do at all. Too many people could roam around freely outside. "There is the shelter."

"Come on zen. Ve just von't lock za door." He offered Hugh an arm to lean on, but he doubted the Sniper would accept.

As Mauritz has suspected Hugh did not accept the help. Instead he just started moving towards his destination, his pace surprisingly quick.

Maur suppressed a sigh and followed him silently, keeping an eye on him.

Hugh quiet on the way there and once they were closer he did slow down a bit again eventually coming to a stop just outside of the door. "You okay?"

"Fine. Trying to figure out vhat I can and can't do vith you vhen you're hurt like zis." It was mildly frustrating.

"There is a sure way to find out." He murmured. "At the least we can talk properly here." He opened the door and stepped into the darkness beyond.

Mauritz followed him in and shut the door behind him. "You know, I still owe you for last time in here."

"You do?" He looked back over his shoulder at the vague shape of Mauritz. "In what sense?"

"In zat I vould razer enjoy being za vone to make you fall asleep in exhaustion zen valk out."

He smiled even if he was sure that Mauritz couldn't see it. "You wouldn't do that. You would feel guilty."

"I'd still manage it." he'd just have to make up for it later.

"I still don't think you could." He moved a little further into the room.

Mauritz followed him, steps quiet. He snuck behind the other and slid his arms around his waist, grip light to avoid hurting those sore ribs.

Even when knowing that Mauritz would be the only person in there with him he still jumped at the touch. Once his thoughts had caught up on what was going on he relaxed and lent back against Maur. His hands went to rest over the other's.

He placed a gentle kiss at the back of the other's neck. "But I von't do it right now."

"That's... understandable." Perfectly understandable if not a little annoying. He bowed his head forward, the breath on the back of his neck was a little ticklish.

The medic 'hmm'ed and pulled the Sniper back against his chest. "So. Talking..."

"We're talking." He wasn't entirely sure of exactly what he had wanted to say any more

"So ve are." he kissed the back of his neck again, grinning to himself.

He shivered at that second kiss. "Some place nice and quiet."

"Some place private." he added, fingers knotting around Hugh's.

"Seems ideal." Just being able to stand as they were was quite nice.

"I zink so too." It was rather nice to just stand together without anyone watching.

"Well.. things will be closer to ideal when I'm fully healed."

"I can't vait for zen." he purred.

"Neither can I. This is quite a bother."

"Ve just have to be patient." He nudged Hugh in the direction of one of the beds, the one they'd shared last time.

It wouldn't have been very pleasant not to go along with Maur's direction. When they stopped by the bed he gently pulled himself free of the Medic's grasp and sat himself down carefully on the edge.

"Might be better if you sit a while" Mauritz said, joining him on the bed.

Bigger movements like sitting down or standing caused some discomfort but for the most part he had thought that he had been doing well that day. "If you say so."

"Or lie down, if you zink zat vould be best?"

There was a little uncertainty then. "I'm not the doctor."

"I'm asking because I can't tell vhats hurting you or not."

"I'm not in pain right now." Nothing significant in his mind anyway. A constant dull pain was manageable. "I'll let you know if that changes."

"Good." And he stopped much further talking with a kiss.

Leaning closer might have hurt a little more but he really didn't care, returning that kiss was a far more pressing matter to him. One hand was placed on Maur's leg to help keep him steady.

He shifted closer so Hugh didn't have to, thumb gliding over Hugh's cheek as they kissed.

It was tempting to settle himself in Maur's lap, like the last time. Things wouldn't end the same way but he was sure he would enjoy the proximity. He didn't see any real reason why he shouldn't and a few little stabs of pain in his chest didn't stop him from moving himself around into Maur's lap after he had made up his mind.

Mauritz let him get settled before he wrapped his arms around Hugh, just holding him close.

He rested his forehead against Mauritz's, breathing a little heavier than he would have liked as the pains in his chest ebbed. "This seems familiar."

"I don't zink ve can go much furzer vithout putting you in some kind of horrible pain." Mauritz said. "So ve'll leave zat for vhen you're better."

"Horrible pain? Hardly. I'm not quite that easy to break."

Mauritz poked one of the damaged ribs lightly to prove his point.

There was a short, sharp intake of breath from Hugh followed by a low growl. It didn't seem fair.

"See? Soon zough, I promise." he said, kissing the Sniper again.

Maur received a bite on the lip in return.

He growled and bit back, sucking on the lip.

That seemed to satisfy the Sniper to an extent or at least he certainly became more enthusiastic about kissing Mauritz. The bite had been encouraging. A little reassurance that he wouldn't be entirely treated as if he were too delicate to do a thing.

The medic bit hard enough to draw blood, lapping it up and kissing him again.

The pain of a burst burst lip didn't bother him in the slightest nor did the taste of blood that came with it. Later he would need to come up with a reason for it but for the time being he really didn't care. It was mindless fun and he would happily stay there as long as he possibly could even if it was just for an almost unreasonably long session of kissing with only the occasional need to stop and actually breath. The harm done to his face made things like breathing difficult from time to time.

The German drew back eventually, mouth a little bloodied from their kissing.

He wiped some of the blood away from him own mouth with his thumb before sucking it off. There was so much more that he wanted to do and knew he wouldn't be allowed to. "Need to learn how to make time go faster."

"Sorry, not a scientist." He grinned slightly, licking the blood from his lips.

He chewed his damaged lip thoughtfully while his hands toyed with the Medic's tie. Take that off then the shirt then- he pulled on the tie. So. Annoying.

"Are you sure ve should even be doing zat?" he caught Hugh's hands before he could take anything off.

"I just want to."

He dropped his hands. "Alright. Do it."

Hugh hadn't actually expected to hear that. He had expected an argument because he knew that to an extent it was probably a bad idea and Mauritz knew it as well. Yet he would still allow it. He could have kissed the man right then and there.

Since there was nobody else around he did though it was briefer than times before. His thoughts more on loosening that tie.

Maur's hand went to the back of Hugh's neck, dragging him back into the kiss when he attempted to leave it. He was still enjoying that, thank you very much.

Hugh turned his head to the side. He wanted his breathing as good as possible, it was more difficult with the current state of his nose. "Move along."

Mauritz moved onto his neck, biting at that instead. Hopefully Hugh wouldn't complain too much.

He didn't complain at all instead tilting his head to the side to give Mauritz better access. He had forgotten what he was trying to do before, a little too wrapped up of the sensation of teeth and lips and breathing on his skin.

He noticed how Hugh had stopped and nipped harder, kissing more firmly. He wanted it to stay like that, Hugh getting attention this time.

He pulled a little at the front of Maur's shirt, bit down hard on his already damaged lip. He was quite happy for the attention and it was a wonderful sensation.

Mauritz moved from one side of his neck to the other, leaving behind reddened and damp skin and more than one bruise. Teasing Hugh like this was rather fun.

For anything Mauritz wanted to do Hugh moved to make it easier for him. He shut his eyes, it was nice just to let Mauritz do as he pleased and it didn't require much work, there was minimal pain aside from the occasional particularly harsh nip. Eventually he lent forward, resting his head on Maur's shoulder and moving the exposed skin of his neck somewhat out of range.

Mauritz let out a displeased noise when his chew toy was taken from him. "Must ve stop?" he sighed.

"I don't know, what were you planning on doing next?" He asked.

"Not much else really." he sighed against Hugh's skin.

"Pity." A small kiss was placed at the side of Maur's neck before he sat himself up straight again.

"Alvays later however." when Hugh was healed he was looking forwards to making the other scream.

"I'll hold you to that."

"I bet you vill." he half purred.

"I promise that I will." He ran a hand back through Maur's hair.

The medic sighed happily and shut his eyes, enjoying the light touches.

"In the meantime... I could stand to spend the rest of the day like this."

"Vhy not? It's not like ve had anyzing planned."

"Sounds like we have one now."

Mauritz grinned and kissed his cheek. "Great." And sometime later this is followed by this.
