Can I see Karkat being all drill sergeanty to the trolls when real danger comes around? Like its an emergency, and Karkat starts barking out orders to save the day? They may or may not listen which cues more motivational speeches (but Karkat style of course). The kids can be involved too and there can be friendleader moments too between Karkat and John
