One of the trolls tries to confess their flushed feelings to one of the humans, unfortunatly they do this in terms of pity ("I truly pity you, with all my heart"). The human of course finds this pretty offputting, and perhaps doesn't even understand that the troll is trying to ask them out, and reacts badly. The troll assumes the human understood and was rejecting them. Fortunatly the peanut gallery get involved in this business, things are sorted out and the two get togther, Hurray!
Would prefer Rose/Kanaya because I love it, and would prefer not to have Karkat/John because there is *so much of it!* But aurthor!anon is author!anon.
