Hmmm... while I agree with a lot points (speciesist language, females given the sole blame on oops-ing, often overly harsh criticism of SAHMs), there are a few things here I disagree with too ( ... )

I used to think that men were so vulnerable in the debate about child support for unwanted children ( ... )

The sad thing is that even after looking over my post, I find more things to edit in!

Women who have children have a more protected status than childfree women, too

When I mention that, specifically, I mean that women are practically powerless without relating to a male or a child in this society, and having either or both gives her more of a social safety net.

Also, when I mean a mother is more of a revered status, I don't mean that in the fullest literal sense. it's only a superficial lip service and an attitude that is still patronizing. Still, that attitude is more positive compared to how childfree women are seen/treated.

Another thing to add: That a man can find clever ways to walk away from supporting a woman and child(ren). The child support system can be very ineffective, too. If a male wanted to be dishonest, he can be relieved from financially supporting his biological child(ren).

Pregnancy is certainly no cake-walk and can be fatal and life-destroying for women, while only really risks affecting a man's income if he chooses not to want to stay and walk away from the situation as much as possible, that much is true.

However, some, more sensitive and caring men will feel emotional attachment to their children, whether they were unwanted or not. Isn't it unethical and unfair to put them in that position through lies and deceit?

"Assuming the female lies about it, then I ask.. what kinds of things would motivate a woman to want to lie to a man and trick him in the first place?"

This seems to be giving women a victim status even when they do something disgustingly immoral and unethical, and instead attempting to place the blame on society. Sorry, but I still have no sympathy with these women and think they should take responsibilty for their own actions rather than abuse a decent man's trust.

No wonder people have bad perceptions of feminism when feminists attempt to defend something like this.
