This can't be happening! Good Times is like the last real arcade I know of in the whole Northeast, and that only scrapes this surface. I can't believe this.

Who's Alumni Sec right now? We should all have one last hurrah...

I am saddened by this as well, because I have good memories of that place... but you know, it's all fun and games until somebody gets shot. Or stabbed. :o)

So what exactly qualifies as a "real arcade" cause I know there's an arcade at Foxwoods (for the kids, but whatever, I'd rather play Dance Dance Revolution than gamble!) There's also a Dave and Busters at the Providence Mall. Heck, you could go to Chuck E Cheese if you really wanted to. :oP

A "real" arcade would have most if not all of the following: The Simpsons: The Arcade Game, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Pac-Man, X-Men: The Arcade Game, Street Fighter II (some version of it - there are billions), Mortal Kombat, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Captain America and the Avengers, the Amazing Spiderman and Friends, Shinobi, Rolling Thunder... I could go on. The only games that the poor excuses for arcades today have are DDR, some racing game, some shooting game (most likely some version of Time Crisis, which is average), and some other lame generic crap.

Oh, and Skeeball. Can't forget Skeeball.

Damn online gaming!

If you're looking for an arcade, there's one in Hull on Nantasket Beach. Not nearly as good as Good times, but better than nothing. BTW, early congrats to you and Gretchen! :)
