Not long back from Eastercon 2008. My very first Eastercon, and my word wasn't it a big 'un? Maybe a bit too big, as I'm sure there were a whole rake of people I know there but I barely got talking to any of you because there were simply so many things going on and the hotel was such a rabbit warren (surely it's twinned with R'lyeh or the QUB ( Read more... )

Yeah, it was nice to catch up the bit I did, but more would have been good, if I hadn't been dashing about so much!

Definitely. Need a quieter con with less running around and more sitting in the bar. :)

I am definitely going to make an appearance at MeCon this year (as I have been living back in NI for about 8-9 years now and still haven't done so!) even if it is just to stalk Paul Cornell :o)

That's the one! I was thinking as I typed it "is that the right building?", and evidently it isn't! And it's not the Master's TARDIS, it's a piece of non-euclidean architecture designed to either awaken the Elder Gods by bringing the stars into alignment or to act as the portal for Zuul's entry to this world. So there! :p

7.30 and onwards tonight (Thurs) at Lav's. Francis is invited too and as far as I know he's going. Nothing too wild and wonderful, just a quick hello before I run back to Cam (only here for 2 weeks this time due to early exams!) so I'd love to see ya : )
