I had an idea for my hpvalensmut fic but then realised it didn't fit my recipient's requests (it was the exact opposite, actually). I might write it anyway, but not for the exchange, obviously.

Thanks! I was trying out my inner bitter!Draco voice ;). I had only written Draco once before (a young Draco still learning to perfect the art of manipulation and revenge; t'was fun).
I'm starting to think I'll have to resort to my recipient's last pairing request, though. My Draco and my Harry are obviously not the Harry and the Draco she prefers :(. Plus the other pairing is much easier. I do want to challenge myself, though.

Speaking of exchanges, did you know my harry_holidays fic was posted? *happy* Can't tell you which one it is yet, though ;).

Away? Nah, I just haven't been spamming like I promised I would. I had so many ideas for polls when I didn't have a paid account, and now that I do I've forgotten them all. Typical.

No, but really, I loved Draco's bitter voice here. Maybe THAT'S why he did what he did in HBP. A girl can dream, can't she? Too bad JKR keeps all these things a secret from her fragile impressionable readers.
You know, these kind of answers would explain a lot about what's going on... Why Harry was so certain Draco had the Dark Mark, why Snape agreed to take the Vow with Narcissa, etc. And it would be an "iron reason" for Dumbledore's trust in Snape ;).

well, that was... something I didn't expect. But well written. I can easily imagine Draco says that.

I found your journal through machinatorculus' and almost died from joy when I saw 100 Hornblower icons. I never seen the films but adore books, of course. Are there people who don't?
Anyway, you wrote in your userinfo that you don't mind, so I added you. Just wanted to let you know.

Thank you, and welcome! I have managed to acquire the books through a LJ friend but haven't read them yet. I'd like to start asap, though.
