i figured i'd post the funny bit. It was gonna be a Pike/Sulu fic. I may still write it. But here's what I wrote...
Background: Kirk is injured, Pike is Captain. Sulu is all frosty around Pike, Pike doesn't know why... Sulu is worried about fucking up in front of this man he admires.

this morning i came in to flowers on my desk.
from my boss.
i shouldn't have been so worried. the two of us have spent the morning fixing all the mistakes.
i am so grateful for her, and for this job. i bet this is what it feels like to be in starfleet. -
