Thanks! Hey, speaking of politics, did we have a miscommunication about the book recommendation? I was serious, and meant no sarcasm or insult whatsoever! I am delighted to have a pal "on the other side of the aisle" and wish you would tell me some books to read (or blogs) to expand from my limited liberal reading list.

What do you mean by "other side of the aisle"? I think sombrero ant there is probably more socially permissive than you. It's only the fiscal conservative ideas that will help you out there, which, as a small business owner, you might actually like.
So, a few ideas for books... I haven't read these yet, but I intend to.

"Selling War to America" - Secunda and Moran. How government uses marketing techniques shape public opinion about wars.
