Thanks! Hey, speaking of politics, did we have a miscommunication about the book recommendation? I was serious, and meant no sarcasm or insult whatsoever! I am delighted to have a pal "on the other side of the aisle" and wish you would tell me some books to read (or blogs) to expand from my limited liberal reading list.

I hope the email demons of "not conveying irony well" did not corrupt our friendship wavelength...

What do you mean by "other side of the aisle"? I think sombrero ant there is probably more socially permissive than you. It's only the fiscal conservative ideas that will help you out there, which, as a small business owner, you might actually like.

So, a few ideas for books... I haven't read these yet, but I intend to.

"Bloomberg by Bloomberg" - Michael Bloomberg. The world from a media mogul's point of view. This was before he became mayor of NYC.

"Selling War to America" - Secunda and Moran. How government uses marketing techniques shape public opinion about wars.
