As of this afternoon, I have finished "The Prisoner of Azkaban!"  Yay, go me!  I don't know if it is because the first three were actually rather short compared to a lot of the other books I have read, but I feel like just blitz through them.  I was really dragging my feet yesterday because I was so tired.  I was up till 2 in the morning reading ( Read more... )

He casually mentioned his godfather was a convicted killer who'd broken out of wizard prison. And liked to check up on him to see if he was happy and content.

EEK!! MOre harry potter. I will stand firm in not reading it. Glad everyone is enjoying it though. I mean hey what floats your boat.

What was the Yaoi manga? I keep getting the temptation to read Loveless. I don't know why.

Oh the manga...let's see. What was it called? Um...OH! I remember now! "A King's Lesson" is what it was called. It's made by the same people that did "Level C".

I'm collecting "Loveless." It's more like shonen ai. If that at all. I really enjoy the story myself. I think that you would enjoy it to...if only for one couple in the story. There is actually a yuri pairing in it. Though I suspect it is more like shojo ai as you don't see them doing anything beyond kissing. I'm not into yuri, but I thought their dialogues were quite sweet.

Well I think that if it's well written any pairing can work. I use it as the example of Here Comes Greenwood. That was a very well written love story and felt very natural. If a love story feels natural it's good no matter if it's yaoi, yuri, or hetero. The problem I always see with Yaoi is alot of times it just doesn't come off as natural. And after the natural part of its gone then the sex just doesn't interest me. Loveless though from what I seen seems to have an interesting mix of action, love of a dozen styles, and a strange complexity. That's why I'm curious about it.

Also this cute catboy was at the con (Yes I got a picture) from Loveless. He was shocked I knew the name right off the bat. So, might go read it.

And Yuri can be natural and cute too. As long as they aren't men haters. In relationships always keep it natural, that's my status. Yep.
