I'm at work right now...and I'm surrounded by 70 warm, fuzzy little bodies. Yes, I'm up to my eyeballs in rats. At least most of them (~ 62) are small and cute little babies. Looks like that squeaky bastard got revenge. I just stabbed my palm with a needle. Thank God I didn't have any drug in it yet. I don't want to see how Apomorphine affects a human....I SEE what it does to the RATS!

Sorry about that dani! Didn't mean to upset you! It honestly happens to me every so often so I've gotten a bit desensitized to it. Well, to the needles anyway. It hurts like hell when I stick myself like that. All I can do is say 'OW!', curse my clumsiness, and move on. At least this time I could be thankful that it was a clean needle without drug! ^_^; (sorry my first post I had forgotten to sign in! This is going to take some getting used to!)

(smiles) Thanks for the concern! I appreciate it. I always try to be careful with them. We usually handle them very well so they aren't that aggressive when they get older. They just get a little tempermental sometimes. But, who can blame them, ne? Also, sometimes the drugs we have to give them make them act a little off. Again, not really their fault.

Yeah, I work at a research lab at a medical college. (chuckles) You know the stereotypic scientist that you see running rats in a maze? That's me. I promise you though, all of the rats are very well treated. (chuckles) They are more spoiled sometimes then MY cats!
