CHARLIE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Jan 02, 2011 16:21

I was going to make this a tumblr post, but I am so afraid because this might be true. Charlie usually NEVER lies at all. This stays public.

“It had to end some time, so why not now.”

Perhaps it his desire to stick closer to home that has Watts speaking out about the fact the Stones have decided that at present, “no more tours” - and are giving no ( Read more... )

public post, charlie don't do this to me (in caps)

OKAY NO WAIT I GOOGLED IT AND FOUND NOTHING. I REALLY DON'T THINK THIS IS LEGIT. AND YEAH MAYBE THERE WON'T BE A HUGE WORLD TOUR BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S THE END, THEY'VE BEEN SAYING FOR THEIR ENTIRE EXISTENCE THAT THERE'S NEVER GOING TO BE A MOMENT WHERE THEY'RE LIKE "OKAY WE'RE DONE," THAT'S JUST NOT HOW THEY ROLL. LMAO NO PUN INTENDED.

I DID TOO AT FIRST AND I GOT NOTHING SO I, FOR A WHILE, WAS CALM. BUT THEN I REALIZED THE PRESS NEVER REALLY REPORTS WHAT CHARLIE DOES. SO THEN I GET SCARED-- THE PRESS DOESN'T FIND CHARLIE INTERESTING EXCEPT WHEN HE'S KNOCKING MICK INTO A PLATE SALMON. I KNOW THEY'LL PROBABLY NEVER STOP-- EVEN AFTER THEY'RE ALL DEAD IT'LL BE STILL KEPT ALIVE MOSTLY THANKS TO THAT DEAD BASTARD ALLEN KLIEN AND DECCA/ABCKO.

I AM VERY SURE THAT THEY'LL DO SOMETHING FOR THEIR 50TH ANNIVERSARY, BUT HELL CHARLIE, STOP WITH THE 'WE'RE NOT TOURING' RUMORS.

I don't know. I think what they're planning is something for their 50th anniversary. Charlie does make some valid points-- especially about Keith's arthritis. Charlie has been a man who likes to be with his family and not away on tour.

I just want this to be Charlie playing with the media.

Transcript I've crudely typed from the interview Keith did with the BBC, that was transmitted this week.

Keith:- "I wait for a phone call from somebody who's got the scratch or an itch which I mean Mick. I saw Mick in the city in New York and I kinda got the itch and shouldn't we do something you know? It becomes so formal sometimes with Mick and me, no body wants to broach the subject first. It's certainly not going to me because I know you see if the front man isn't the impudus - the one that wants to, if you've got to poke the front man and say do something then forget about it. You've got to have the want to do it for the man who's going to be out there and doing it for the band.

So yeah I kind of got the the hint of an itch from Mick and we started to talk about possibilities of next year and how to do it, so how to make the Stones grown up - it's our big problem right now."

Interviewer:- "Because you wouldn't want to do it on a massive world tour stage?"

Keith:- "That's right, Mick and I were talking about and I also ( ... )

Charlie has always liked his home life. Sure Keith loves his family, but he doesn't really know how to calm down when a tour isn't going. Normal life is too boring for him.

For the last 10 years, Mick has mostly stayed out of the limelight, other then Janice Dickinson and Keith obsessively talking about Mick's todger, he's bee relatively clean. Maybe in the 70s he liked the limelight and achieved it after hard work, but now he's probably gotten a little tired of it.

They need to tour before they retire-- please let ticket prices not go in the way of Paul McCartney or Madonna-- she charges 2,000 dollars per seat, motherfucking Christ.
