Miss Naja, the Chocobos are doing very well. They shall be in good form for the race coming up soon.

[You can hear one of them making some happy noises as he gives it attention. Someone is in the stables... that's nothing new.]

Tis good you all have dealt well with the weather.

It is good to hear you are well, brother but how many birds have you managed to raise now? It sounds if you have an entire flock of them now!

We have the same amount as before, Noah. Eight, because of the Malice beast attack before.

I am sure at some point, when we are a bit more stable with our own food intake, we can try to raise a few chicks. There is no sense in trying to feed more mouths when we cannot feed our own.

I think I'd like to ask as well? What is a chocobo, and how do you race it?

[The video in the above comment is pretty much what Riful will get from Basch, though the Chocobo is trying to snatch the comm away from Basch to inspect it better. The old knight does manage to keep it from being confiscated though.]

As you can see, tis a large bird. Rather friendly, if not curious. [Have a wark from the Chocobo as it seems to understand it's being spoken about.]

We currently have eight. When the situation is better, raising some from eggs to adulthood may happen.

Ah, Chocobo. These are the others of your kind I mentioned before.

I suppose you could call them... larger cousins?

[The Chocobo he's standing near seems interested in the mini-choco on Basch's communicator screen and his beak nuzzles against it as if trying to figure out why there is such a small one of it.]
