Are you using a print screen program like Gadwin or Fraps or something else? The in game camera (c) won't show any of the actions or the pause line. Print screen programs always show everything, but you can crop them out using a photo editing program. Usually people resize images to 600 pixels wide, but really, you do what you like as far as that goes. Have fun with your new legacy! :)
thanks, yeah, i was using gadwin so it could auto resize images. i haven't really played around with the in game camera, where do the pictures end up when you take them?
They go in your sims 3 folder under screenshots. It's the easiest way to do things. A print screen program and edit do make slightly better photos, but it's more work. You've just gotta try it out and see what you like best. What are you using to edit your photos now?
Try to use the sims3 in camera and see what you like best. It's more work because then you have to manually resize pics.
Gadwin also allow for you to crop pics if I'm not mistaken. You just have to change the options. I'm not sure, but when I used it, I could crop the screencap to only part of the screen.
I never did a legacy either. I have been reading a lot of different ones. I found yours and like the start and comments, cause it's helping me to learn different things to try. You ask great questions. Keep up the good work. I'm going to follow your legacy... :)
Thank you, I appreciate your comments. For me I've been looking at some of the most popular ones and ones that have been going for several generations. the Storms is a good one.
