Aww, poor Toki. I hope he finally found peace.
I actually have a pair of those welding goggles, but it's not the flip-up kind. I want to make a steampunk top hat with them.

A guy I used to work with had the exact ones I was picturing in my head, but I couldn't find a pic online. Most of the round ones have screw-on lenses, and his flipped. They're more popular with burners, welding much without a full face mask will give you a bad burn. (I used to work in a metal shop, know too much about all this crap)

You should make a hat, sounds cool. Classy hat, or grunge hat? Choices.

Yeah, anyway.
It was all a weird messed up idea and it became a weird messed up fic, because that's how I roll. It ended up changing slightly from the original version, but the basic story (and the lack of any clear answers) is still the same.

I'm patterning my hat after the one Skwisgaar is wearing in the steampunk artwork of Skwis and Toki drawen by Misdreya (I hope I spelled that correctly)

I think you spelled that right, but as far as I remember she never did art at all. I'm going to assume you meant this and this by andreaoftheland.
