Aargh! This reminds me so much of that other fic where they all died. It's so sad but you can't stop reading for the life of you! Eagerly awaiting the last chapter.

Yeah... Slow going here. Writing comes and goes, so I write some but then it's off for at least days.

I first wrote this over a year ago. It was only going to be one part only (the last chapter) and I was just going to mention the earlier stuff. But then my brain said "no, write the chapter before that" so I cut those bits out and tried to edit them enough. But then it said "no, write the one before that too" so again I cut and tried to edit. (my brain is an asshole sometimes)

Basically, I'd made such a mess of it all at that point that I just gave up and dropped it, but it was still in my head. Then I saw a random "don't edit, rewrite" post, so I decided to try. I knew the whole story, have for a long time.

The funny part is the the last chapter, I'd never really wrote much at all of it because I was dealing with trying to cover the other parts.

And yeah I have a bad habit of killing everybody. To the point where my first thought was which fic where they all died? (though you probably mean Changes

Changes was compelling and a good read, but that's not the one I was thinking about. It was that fic where they got shipwrecked on that island. I don't recall who wrote that one.

DethIsland, yeah that was super brutal. And really hard to read. That was Alex (who has many names), and it's no longer anywhere online as far as I can tell.
