I didn't think I'd be able to say this, but it is EVEN BETTER with the little illustrations! Like the world's most twisted and metal children's fairy tale.

Also, I still want Pickles to adopt Toki....

Bat!Charles had no pie to motivate him to lose his dignity. It was bad enough that he had to flutter about like a drunken Woodstock, looking for Snoopy. Charles is probably thinking that if he ever becomes a bat again, it would be too soon.

The illustrations make the story into an actual story, not just another fic in the wall.

I think Pickles is seriously considering asking Charles to get some paperwork started on that adoption thing. He needs a bouncing, baby brother in his life.

This was one of my faves from H&G this year. And H&G was pretty keen this year. So, there's that. :D

H&G did have some great stuff this year. I was so impressed with last year's stuff, I wanted to participate this year. I'm really glad I did.

This was great! I never thought I'd find an octopus hugging a rabbit so adorable, yet here we are.

I also never thought I'd say 'I lol'd irl when Toki pissed in Nathan's mouth', but it's true. XD

Poor Nathan. He'll probably have that taste in his mouth forever, and Toki will never hear the end of it.

Nathan was on the couch across the room, desperately chugging down a bottle of Chambord liqueur. When that was gone he tossed the round bottle aside and grimaced. "Fuck! I can still taste it! Someone go get me a bottle of Jack!"

If the syrupy black raspberry taste of Chambord isn't clearing it from your palate, Jack does seem like the next logical choice. this fandom is always making me want to get drunk

Oh, I know! Sometimes I wish I drank alcohol, just to get in the spirit of things for this fandom. But alas, I don't drink, not even iced tea. Soda is my beverage of choice. Especially my Fat Tits Gulp from my favorite restaurant, 7-11. :D

Heh, I prefer the straight coke slurpees, myself. I think they introduced coke slurpees when I was in high school and I've been in heaven ever since. I'm gonna have to design a cup carrier for my Ultimate (Fat Tits) Gulp, that thing is way too heavy to carry around when it's full.

I have the song on my mp3 player, and I grin insanely whenever I hear it. I've corrupted that song for life, I'm afraid. I just wish I could find the Swahili lyrics that they sing in the background at the end.
