Dorothy: Do you think there could be wild animals in here?
Tin Woodsman: Perhaps.
Scarecrow: Even ones that, that eat... straw?
Tin Woodsman: Some, but mostly lions and tigers and bears. And a walrus.
Dorothy: Lions?
Scarecrow: And tigers?
Tin Woodsman: And bears.
Dorothy: Oh my!
Tin Woodsman: And a walrus.

Hee! I'm having a fairly dismal day today, but that made me laugh out loud!

Also made me remember a story...years ago when I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, there was a house in my modest neighborhood that for some reason had a huge plaster walrus on the roof. No kidding. Weirdest thing ever. But the fun thing was to drive people by it after a night of drinking and mess with their reactions.

Walrus? What walrus?

Such is the power of the LOLrus! Hope your day gets better.

Are you sure the walrus was plaster, and not taxidermy? Perhaps the family patriarch was once the captain of a whaling boat in the Bering Strait, and brought back to Texas his faithful walrus sidekick whom he'd befriended while stranded on an ice-floe after a dramatic showdown with a giant albino baleen... It happens all the time! Like in Jack London's "Call of the Wild", and how the husky is brought south and kills the family chickens and has to be put down and is then stuffed and mounted as a mailbox.
