Oh, Wow! I adored this on s many different levels1
Firstly, I think you've got Bobby's character down brilliantly - I love how he thinks girls are so different to boys and has a very stereotypical image of them ('All little girls love pink, right?' - Ha ha, giggle, snort).
Secondly, I love the relationship you painted between the girls. The quarrel was really realistic (it reminded me of me and my sister) and also the bond between them really came through: 'Emily said: “You can have the pink ones, Alice. They`re her favorite,” she added, turning to Bobby.' - this was just AWWWW!
Thirdly, I loved the comparisons again with Sam and Dean (personalities and habits.
Fourthly I really liked the fact that Bobby gave them a chance to sort out the squabble themselves before interfering - i thought that was really good parenting.
Fifthly I just love reading Alice's tantrums! Hee hee
Sixthly it amused me that Alice ran straight to Emily after the spanking - I thought this very realistic, but did feel sorry for Bobby.
Can't wait for Part 3!!!!!!

Considering Bobby and what he does, I can totally imagine him having a very stereotypical view of boys and girls. And anyway, writing this was just hilarious, especially Alice`s tantrum! LOL Poor Bobby, he doesn`t have an easy time of taking care of Sam`s little "angels.." *gigglesnort*

I`m so glad to hear you think I`ve gotten Bobby`s character down, I keep worrying about that while writing this.

I realized I`ve never really written a proper sibling quarrel between the girls (except one time) and I figured their little arguement here was indeed realistic, and something a lot of people with siblings could identify with, hehe. :)

I haven`t started writing part 3 yet, but I have a pretty good idea of what`s going to happen. :D
