She lay on the grass at the edge of the forest and the beach with the white buds in her ears pumping kaleidoscopic music into her brain.  One arm thrown across her eyes to block the sun that filtered down through the palm fronds.

It was truly beautiful here.

Boomer had heard that there was a six on the island somewhere, but she wasn't exactly in a big hurry to seek out someone who had probably knocked her out the last time they'd met. With her luck, that would be the copy on the island.

So when she came across Caprica, she wasn't really surprised.

"Figures I'd find you here," She said. Sleeping, or whatever the other cylon had been doing a moment ago.

She blinked the sun out of her eyes. "Hello, Sharon," she said warmly, as she propped herself up on her elbows. She looked up at her and--

"Oh." Her mouth hung open a moment and then Six was scrambling entirely ungracefully to her feet to throw her arms around Boomer. "It's you!"

Boomer pulled away almost as quickly as Caprica had embraced her, taking a step back to shoot her a confused look. There was an awkward moment as she looked down at her shoes and then back up again.

"So when are you from?" She asked. All things considered, it was a frakking weird question, but the Caprica that Boomer had left behind was more interested in knocking her out than hugging her.

For a fleeting moment, hurt showed plainly on Caprica's face, but she smoothed her expression as Boomer looked back up. "Just after we...changed everything." She smiled again, encouragingly.

"That's putting it mildly." Gaius said blandly.
