It's been almost 10 weeks since Jethro was born, and I'm still trying to get back to my normal self. I struggle sometimes as there's so much I want to do and then I wonder if I'm pushing myself a bit too hard. I know Cory thinks I'm being a bit too hard on myself, but it's hard as I'm trying to get back to what passes for normal for me ( Read more... )

Don't push yourself too hard - you'll get back to normal eventually, but having another child is a big change to adapt to *hugs*

If he's goign to be at school full time from the autumn, I'd try and get used to 5 days of nursery for the next term so that he's used to the "school routine" - there's then going to be the whole of the summer for doing fun things and playing. But obviously I don't know him and how well he'll cope....

And yes coping with a second child is very very different from just having one,so do be gentle on yourself. Life will never be the same again!
