So, I'm applying for apartments. When you apply to live somewhere they want to verify that you make enough money to pay the rent. Fine, most of the money I "make" is student loans. Logically, I contact the U of M Financial Aid/Services Office (or whatever it's called) and ask about my financial status ( Read more... )

U of M hasn't "officially" admitted me because they need to "process" some paperwork. Until they do so I don't have financial aid, therefore I don't have any loans for the next coming year (yet), therefore I can't apply for an apartment because I don't have any money (not enough for a 700 dollar a month apartment anyway).

Basically, they are fucking stupid assholes who don't understand that when you're not a richass student you survive on loans.
