Well, that proved a mediocre remedy at best. I was hoping that a nap might calm my nerves, but unfortunately this place isn't very calming at all. I really should look into reclaiming my sword.
( Why yes, he is talking to himself. He's also in yet another unfamiliar room, and that's the first thing he notices when he sits up. )
Another room... this place truly has an affinity for irritating me.
( Still completely unaware of the situation, and of his forced 'roommate,' Fugue gets out of bed and crosses the room to open the door. Or try, at least; it's then that Fugue realizes he's locked in, and immediately he reacts in anger, attempting to either force the door open by yanking on the knob. )
( Fugue snaps his head back around, finally recognizing her presence. He doesn't move from the door, but he does make an effort to seem polite... the keyword here being 'seem.' Despite this attempt, he's still sneering. )
Forgive me, but I'm afraid I've no idea where we are. Why, I hardly even know who you are, or why we of all people have been locked in here together.
( He gives the doorknob another quick glare before deciding to move away from the door, taking a seat at the foot of the bed. )
Whoever runs this wretched city clearly has the power to do unexplainable things. Unfortunately, thus far they've all been profoundly annoying.
