Oscar nominations came out yesterday. Of the five Best Picture nominees, I’ve seen one, and I don’t know if it’s really a “Best Picture” sort of picture. Can't comment on The Dark Knight since I never saw it (I know, I know), but I was definitely shocked that Wall-E wasn't nominated for Best Picture. I thought it really had a shot.

go see slumdog millionaire. I think it's what you're looking for in an oscar worthy movie. Interesting, new and inventive, and you're pretty much engrossed on what happens during the whole thing.
