A Busy Weekend!

1. Son earned his 2nd-degree white belt on Saturday. They tape a black stripe onto the white belt. He was so excited he was about to burst. In the "It's a Small World Department", 3 of his former teachers from daycare, including his kindergarten teacher were present at the health club for a birthday party, so they got to see him be promoted too

Awesome for Chris!! :) How long has he been doing karate? My cousin Christopher has his 2nd-degree black belt and is thinking about looking into attending a college that has a karate team.

Glad you had such a great time at the concert! Yeah, 80 minutes is too short, especially when you're hearing all-time favorite songs!

Chris has been taking the class since March-April I think. He started once a week through the local recreation program, earning his white belt at the end of that class in mid-June. He then took a month off and now he goes twice a week. This will change when he starts handbells again in September.

I don't know if it will hold his interest beyond next spring, when his school offers lacrosse.

I go to the doctor for my foot on Wednesday. I'm hoping it's not Lyme Disease, apparently getting a negative test doesn't mean you don't have it, just that something is masking the positive result. I've had another whole round of blood work, so we'll see.
