attention baddies!

So some people might have seen me babbling around about having a VILLAINS ONLY BARBEQUE (scowling over their veggie burgers, etc) in one of the memes while a back. As it turns out, I was only half joking. /o\ Rather than a barbeque, though, I'm thinking more of a bad guy banquet with a five course meal and fancy desserts and inspirational speeches. And mingling. And scheming. As you do. If there's a larger scheme going on at that point (for instance, if people are nuke collecting?) they can talk strategy.

And why would there be a villains banquet? Cavil would talk about how it fosters unity, companionship, stronger allied bonds, etc etc, when you, uh, actually meet in person, because I'm pretty sure a lot of the bad guys don't sit around and chat with each other regularly here. His ulterior motives, of course, are to scope out the competition, but also to unofficially place himself into more of a position of power, since he would be heading the event and therefore giving off the impression of being in charge. He wants more minions. He misses bossing people around, you guys. :[

HOWEVER. This is not official in any way, shape, or form. Before I send something off to the plot post, I want to make sure that people are actually interested in it. After all, so many of the villain characters are keeping their identity a secret from even their allies, some of them may not trust a dinner invitation, and some of them... might want... to kill each other, which could make one awkward and unfortunate experience for everyone involved. (I imagine there would be heavy security, and, uh, mental health screenings on the way in.) THAT BEING SAID, if only five characters would ICly hop on this train, the event probably wouldn't be worth it. Just let me know if you're interested!

It would be ICly invitation only, since the location would be a secret (and also outside the city), and if people want, there can... be... initiation rites and stuff like that. If you think your character gives off the impression of being on the less morally-sound end of the spectrum, you can have them approached and invited. It would maybe happen in late December? Early January?

BUT YEAH. Does this sound good? Is it worth planning and making official?

EDIT: But speaking about bad guys and unity, remember that some of them have automatic distress calls on their communicator which can be used to call other villains to their aid and botch the plans of whatever good guy is going after them at the time. It's awesome for the villains. It sucks for the heroes. If anyone wants to set up plots with that, also feel free to use this post.
